Terms & Conditions of Sale

Our Terms & Conditions comply with UK legislation and are designed to ensure that our customers can shop easily and with confidence with Paraquatics Online.

  2. If you need your items delivered to a different address other than the registered Card holders address,

You Must Pay With PayPal Only


We are happy to accept orders outside of the UK, but we are only able to to process these orders when pre-paid for by PayPal.


All prices are in £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery. Delivery charges can be found in Delivery pricing when you check out. You may pay by most major credit or debit cards. Payment is deducted when we process your order. Prices ,offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order.

Accepting orders and Security

When you place an order we will treat it as an offer to buy. We will send an e-mail to confirm receipt. If we accept your order, we will send you the product(s),at which point we make a legal contract with you. Payment will be processed when your order is accepted, however we will be entitled to refuse your order if we feel it necessary in which case we will e-mail you as soon as possible to let you know.

When you order you will have an opportunity to check the details correct and correct any input errors.

In deciding to accept your order we may use information you have given us or already hold about you.

If we decline your order on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method.

Please be sure to supply us with the registered name and address for the credit card being used – this will be your address as it appears on your credit card/bank statement.

This address check service costs us £3.00. Therefore, if the address check we run concludes that the name or address supplied are completely different, we will have to charge £3.00 per subsequent address check to verify your details.


All Delivery prices are quoted for the normal English Post Codes.

Delivery costs may be higher to Scotland, Wales ,Ireland etc

This applies to the following areas and post codes:

Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Also post-codes AB 30-38 and AB 44-56, FK 17-21, G83, IV 1-29 IV 30-32 and IV 33-39, KA 27-28, KW 15-99, PA 20-99 PH 17-32 and PH34-38, PH 33, PH 49-99, TR 21-25 and all ZE post codes

Delivery on some items is restricted to the United Kingdom.

Delivery charges are in some cases not added automatically to your bill. If you wish to have a final payment price before we send your order please make a note on the order form and we will send you an e-mail with the final payment total.

Goods in stock will normally be delivered to you within four working days (accept weekends & bank holidays).We are dependant on our suppliers for the availability of goods we do not hold in stock. All goods will normally be despatched within 28 days unless you are advised of any delay or those goods are no longer available.

Different items on the same order may be despatched separately.

Most products are delivered by Signed for – first class post. A courier will deliver large or high value items and a signature will be required to confirm receipt of the goods. You should keep your receipt in a safe place.

Although we do everything we can to meet delivery and times quoted, delivery times can sometimes be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Where multiple purchases are concerned ,all items will be packaged as safely and as economically as possible to avoid multiple charges on postage & packing.(Please note because of this you may be charged less than your outstanding balance will show when ordering).

Cancellations and Returns

Cancellations will be accepted on most items upto the point of us sending out your order, except special orders that we deem as sold as soon as we have ordered them especially for you, once in transit the items are deemed to be sold and you should read our returns policy.

All items should be checked before signing for them and breakages reported to us On 01273 733996, and the courier responsible at the time of delivery and the delivery should not be accepted.

No responsibility can be taken for broken items once signed for

Other Returns

The following are guidelines wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances:-

If your product(s) develops a fault within 12 months of delivery (or if there is another defect with your order) we will offer a prompt repair, exchange or credit note. These promises do not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. For consumable items (e.g. probes etc) the guarantee period is three months.


Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us.

These terms and conditions only cover the Paraquatics Online website. Any other web sites to which you link from this site are governed by their owns terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or the web sites, which are not under our control.

These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not hold file copies of customer contracts.

Display information to customers on the benefits of take-back schemes.

Establish an in-store take-back scheme or join the distributor take-back scheme


By joining this scheme, and providing you with details of how you can safely dispose of WEEE locally, we have fulfilled our legal obligations under the WEEE Regulations without having to arrange for the collection of your old WEEE, its return to us, its subsequent movement on to a licensed waste management company and without producing a substantial “carbon footprint” by so doing.
